Here at EXCALIBUR GREAT DANES we do not take DEPOSITS on UNBORN
puppies. However, we do set up waiting lists. We will take your name, number, and
e-mail address and contact you as soon as we have puppies. This is our
PHILOSOPHY ONLY due to we do not like to except money for something we do
not have....there could be extenuating circumstances arise beyond our control. We
will contact people on our waiting list FIRST, and then send photos & a list
(male/female/colors) of what we have available.
At that time it is up to the PURCHASER to CONTACT US and send a DEPOSIT
for the puppy they intend to purchase. We will remain in contact and send progress
reports and photos of the puppy until time for pick-up or shipping to the new
owners.
*Puppies are placed in approved homes only we check references and have the right
refuse placement of our puppies.
*Deposits are non refundable. Pet/Companion puppies require a $300.00 deposit. All
others $500.00
*Puppies will be paid in full via cashiers check, money order, money wire transfer, or
cash and picked up at 8 weeks old, unless other arrangements are made at the time
of deposit.
*Flight arrangements are made via Delta, American, Northwest, and Continental
Airlines if they ship to the desired destination. Cost of flight includes "flight ticket"
flight insurance on puppy, and delivery to the Airport Monday thru Sunday.
However, shipping crate/carrier is a separate cost and depends on size (medium,
intermediate, large), health certificate for flying, and micro-chipping, are all separate
costs added to "shipping ticket" for the total amount of shipping cost. This is the
responsibility of the purchaser. We can not give a rate due to fuel costs, so this will
be checked on at the time of purchase and we will give you the price at that time. We
try very hard to keep expenses at a minimum but we will not jeopardize our puppies.
*We do not crop ears on our puppies due to veterinarians in our local area do not
like to crop ears. The vet's we used in the past have all retired, and now it is getting
more difficult to find veterinarians who will crop ears. Sorry for any inconvenience
this may cause.
*We do not normally participate in co-ownership, unless prior arrangements have
been made. We uphold are guarantee to the highest and know the health and quality
of our Danes. We would only consider an arrangement of this sort at our discretion.
Your puppy is your's to enjoy. We do require our puppies to be raised in a home
environment, and in a loving atmosphere with room to run, play, and grow.
*Puppies are like children they need a lot of attention. If you cannot devote the
necessary time to raise a puppy, then please reconsider your choice. They are also a
lifetime commitment and not a disposable item. We require the puppy/dog to be
returned to Excalibur if for any reason you cannot keep him/her! Our contract is a
legal binding agreement.
*All puppies are AKC registered, vet checked with a clean bill of health, or health
certificate if shipped, and come with a guarantee against any life-threating disease,
or crippling genetic defects as per our contract. Purchaser must get a necropsy if
anything life threating happens to the dane. All medical reports from a licensed vet
must accompany the returned puppy/dog and be verified by our vets. We breed
excellent quality puppies and back them 100% with a written health guarantee.
Our puppies are priced accordingly, prices can be subject to change. We
also have the right to refuse sale of a puppy if we feel the home is not
appropriate for a great dane.

$3000.00 with Full AKC registration
Mis-marked Mantles start at ....$1600.00 & up with Full AKC

Mis-marked Mantles are $1500.00 with Limited AKC registration
Merles, Mantle Merles, and Merlequins start at $1000 to $1500.00 with
Limited AKC registration.
*All of our Dane puppies are excellent quality it is the color that
determines the pricing as 1%-2% of all litters are show marked.
*We have taken great effort, time, and cost into breeding only the finest quality
GREAT DANES! We have incorporated only the best quality German and
European lineages, with our great quality American bloodlines/lineages. We love
and care for our great danes, and go above and beyond for them! It shows!! We only
want the best, as quality begets quality.
*We will provide references and our kennel is available for your inspection.
*We have surpassed all AKC inspections with 100%!
*We advise potential puppy owners to look around and ask questions.
*Our puppies are raised in our home/kennel, in a loving social environment.
*We feed only the best food (26% protein and 18% fat) and require our new owners
to follow our feeding program.
*We have all our puppies on Vitamin C 500 mg's, and supplements.
*We use plain yogurt daily and an egg yolk twice a week.
*Please find a vet who deals with Great Danes if you need help we will try and locate
one for you.
*We unfortunately cannot determine or see into the future, therefore we can not
guarantee against cancer (this has become more of an environmental issue, as in
humans). Although, we have not had any cancer in our lines to our knowledge.
However, if cancer were to occur rapidly or with-in a short time-frame after
purchase I will work with you for a replacement puppy.
* We wish we could determine length of life, or how long your dane will be with you,
but that is beyond our control. Many factors contribute to the longevity of your
dane, and it is REQUIRED that you follow our guidelines and suggestions for
supplements, premium or high quality food, and proper/routine vet schedules/visits,
etc. We can tell you an approximate life span of our danes which is 10-14 years.
*We are there for you and your puppy, we want you to keep in contact and send
photo's.
*We will answer any questions you may have and will help throughout the life of
your great dane.
